classthisafternoon. 3.Thatsoundsgreat,thoughIthinkVictoriaFallsinAfricaisevenmorefantastic. 4.Butinmyopinion,man-madewondersaremorethanexcitingthannaturalones. 如:Who,inyouropinion,isthebestfootballplayerintheworldtoday? Graceisgoingtogivemuchmoneytocharity,______sheisnotrichenough.(2013乌鲁木齐)A.ifB.unlessC.sinceD.thoughStep7Workinpairs.1.Readthroughtheexamplewiththeclass.—Whichwonderoftheworldyouliketovisit?—I’dliketovisittheGiant’sCausewaybecauseIlovewildplacesbythesea.2.Makealistofwondersoftheworld.Saywhichoneyouwouldliketovisitandwhy.3.Workinpairs.Step8Exercises:Completethesentences.1.AskthestudentstoreadthroughthewordsintheboxinActivity5.discussioneasternhugeopinionthough2.ReadthroughthesentencesinActivity5.1)Inmy_____________,naturalwondersaremoreinterestingthanman-madeones.2)VictoriaFalls,about1,700metreswideand100metreshigh,is____________.3)Let’sjoininthe_____________aboutthewondersoftheworld.4)IthinktheGiant’sCausewayonthe_____________coastofNorthernIrelandisa Thesunrisesintheeastandsetsinthewest. IgotupveryearlywhenIwasacollegestudent. e.g.Iusedtotakeawalkinthemorning. Wearehavingameetingtomorrowmorning. e.g.SheisflyingtoLondontomorrow. Whatwereyoudoingateighto’clockyesterdayevening? e.g.Thephonerangwhile/whenMr.Wangwassleepingonthesofa. 例如:Itwill/isgoingtobearainydaytomorrow. IwillgiveyoutheinformationwhenIgetit. e.g.Thereisgoingto/willbeafilmthisevening. A:Haveyouseenthefilm?B:Yes,Ihave.A:Whendidyouseeit? B:Lastnight. Ihavebeenillforaweek.注意:havebeento曾去过某地,表示一种经历havegoneto到某地去了e.g.MyfatherhasbeentoShanghaitwice. MrWangisn’there.HehasgonetoDalian. DoI/we/you/they+do…?Doeshe/she/it+do…? I/We/You/They+donot(don’t)+do…He/She/Itdoesnot(doesn’t)+do…2. DidI/we/you/he/she/it/they+do…? I/We/You/He/She/It/They+didnot(didn’t)+do…3. AmIdoing…?Arewe/you/they+doing…? Ishe/she/it+doing…? Iamnot(I’mnot)doing…We/You/They+arenot(aren’t)+doing…He/She/Itisnot(isn’t)+doing…4. Werewe/you/they+doing…?WasI/he/she/it+doing…? We/You/They+werenot(weren’t)+doing…I/He/She/Itwasnot(wasn’t)+doing…5. WillI/we/you/he/she/it/they+do…?AmIgoingto+do…?Arewe/you/they+goingto+do…?Ishe/she/it+goingto+do…? I/We/You/He/She/It/They+willnot(won’t)+do…Iamnot(I’mnot)goingto+do…We/You/They+arenot(aren’t)goingto+do…He/She/Itisnot(isn’t)goingto+do…6. HaveI/we/you/they+done…?Hashe/she/it+done…? I/We/You/Theyhavenot(haven’t)+done… He/She/It+hasnot(hasn’t)+done…Step4Explainthedifferencesinmeaning.1.ExplainthedifferencesinmeaningbetweenSentencesa)andb).1)a)Ioftenplaybasketball.b)Iamplayingbasketballnow.2)a)ShehasgonetotheGreatWall.b)ShehasbeentotheGreatWall.3)a)TheyhadanEnglishclassyesterday.b)TheywerehavinganEnglishclassatnineo’clockyesterdaymorning.4)a)Heisdoinganinterview.b)Hehasdoneaninterview.5)a)WearedrawingapictureofVictoriaFallsnow.b)WewilldrawapictureofVictoriaFalls.2.Checktheanswers:Keys:1.a)iswhatIdoregularly.b)iswhatI’mdoingnow.2.a)SheisstillattheGreatWall.b)ShehascomebackfromtheGreatWall.3.a)Theydiditonceinthepast.b)Theyweredoingsomethingataspecifictime.4.a)He’sdoingtheinterviewnow.b)Hehasalreadyfinishedtheinterview.5.a)Wearedrawingapicturenowb)Wewilldrawapictureinthefuture.
