八年级英语上册《New term, new start》教学设计一.学情分析   本节课面对的是刚升入初二的学生。经过初一一年的英语学习，有一部分学生对英语学习已经掌握了基本的学习语言的方法和学习技巧，具备了一定的运用英语进行阅读和表达的能力。但很多学生还停留在单纯的单词和句子的学习上，阅读和表达能力都不强。升入初二年级，英语教材难度加大，部分学生对英语的新鲜感逐渐淡化，而且由于学习成绩不是很好，产生了畏难的情绪。假期里布置了两项作业：一是复习初一知识和预习初二前四单元单词。 二是典范英语5的阅读，并整理阅读卡和改写续写故事。假期中途对作业进行了阶段性检查和预习作业测试。学生假期里的作业完成情况参差不齐。二、教学目标：1. 通过自由交谈，消除由于长假给学生带来的对英语学习的陌生感和不安感，营造轻松愉快的课堂气氛，让学生感受到英语学习的乐趣。2. 通过对假期作业的反馈评价，学生能够发现学习过程对于学习成果的重要性，找到自己学习上的不足，激发学生的进取心和求知欲， 并对新学期的英语学习制定自己的学习计划。3.通过阅读训练和阅读指导，学生能够掌握阅读技巧，提高语言运用能力，用英语的思维去思考问题。4. 通过老师的介绍，学生能够了解初二英语学习内容的整体框架，了解初二英语与初一英语的相同和不同点。从而对学习产生向往和热爱之情。三、教学重难点：1. 四、教学过程和设计意图Step 1 . Free talkFirst ,the teacher asks Yu Qingyuan to share his own experiences of traveling to the UK during the summer vacation. And then asks the students to talk about the question: Do you think English is important? Why?                                                 设计意图： 通过于清源同学的暑期英语研学之旅的交流，让学生对英语学习产生向往，并通过自由交谈，让学生了解英语是人际交往的手段和工具，对英语学习的重要性有更进一步的认识。Step2 Colorful Vacation Harvest（3’） English is so important , so we should work hard ! Did you work hard at English during the vacation? I checked your homework. And some of you did the homework carefully.  Some of you just copy without thinking.  A few of students' homework was terrible. （引出评价假期作业的名单 ）According to this , there are some requirements of your homework in this term. First, you should hand in your homework on time. Second, you should treat it seriously. Third , you should try your vest to learn more form your homework.A： 表扬原因：作业完成质量高，默写单词有批改有订正。阅读理解有做题痕迹，有订正理由。阅读卡的制作内容完整，版面美观，书写工整。B：有待进步的同学有：理由：作业纯属应付公事，单词只是抄写，而没有默写。阅读理解胡乱选择答案。阅读卡内容少，书写不认真。设计意图： 反馈作业，有布置有落实有反馈，让学生了解老师对待他们学习过程的重视，提高他们学习的自觉性和自学能力。并由此对新学期的家庭作业提出具体要求，Step 3 Challenge yourself( Competitive answering game)Now race to be the first to say out the words.通过同学的精彩展示，给其他同学做出榜样，引导同学开学后要奋起直追。 让优秀学生分享背单词的捷径--根据音标拼读单词，识记单词。教给学生记单词的方法Step4. Reading skillRead the passage on the paper and choose the best answer.              DIY Your Own DessertsWe offer different kinds of classes to you all. A very popular class we are offering these 10 days is the class named “DIY Your Own Desserts”.Can you imagine how happy your beloved one will be when you give him/her your DIY desserts on the special days like birthday, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day? Come to our class and make your own desserts. Give your beloved one some surprises!The class runs daily and it is a completely hands-on personal cooking experience lasting up to 4 hours learning 3-4 recipes (食谱) each lesson. The teacher will first show how to cook different recipes in front of you. And then he will guide you on how to prepare and make the food.At the end of the class you can either eat the meal prepared during the class or take it home with you. You can attend the class on National DayAfter doing this , the teacher show the passage on the screen and choose one students to show the answer and mark his answer in the passage .设计意图：通过在小卷上的一个阅读理解题检测， 锻炼学生限时阅读的能力。 通过学生讲解，展示学生在做题中的优点和不足。 教给学生在做阅读题时如何根据问题在文章中找到依据并做标记。 渗透阅读技巧，提高学生的阅读能力和做题能力。Step 5.Characteristics of  English in Grade 7使用思维导图的形式，分析进入初二英语教材的特点。设计意图：通过对教材特点的分析，让学生对初二英语有个初步的整体框架的认识，并逐步适应新教材的教学。Step6. Introduction of ways to learn English T: English is interesting and important. So how to learn English well? What are the good ways of learning English? Get the students to share their good advice on how to learn English and share their advice in class.First, you should have confidence.  Never lose your heart.Second ,you should try your best to make every chance to speak English.Third, you can learn your English by many ways such as watching English movies, Singing English songs, Using Apps or website...  If you want to learn English well, you should work hard. But that's not enough. you should master good learning methods. And you should form  good learning habits.  设计意图： 每个学生都希望自己能学好英语。 但有的学生却没有掌握学习方法和技巧，事倍功半。 通过学生交流，集思广益， 讨论分享科学有效的学习方法，养成良好的学习习惯，让学生都能尽自己所能，把英语学好。Step7. Requirements of new termNew term ,new start ,new requirements:1、课前预习预习既是学习方法问题，也是学习习惯的问题。预习的内容很多，如：课前要预习生词、课文和语法内容，在自己不懂的地方作上标记，带着问题有针对性去听课，课堂上尽力去解决自己不懂的问题，如仍不懂，课后应马上问老师。2、认真听课Learn to listen to me in class听课是学习过程中最重要的环节，听课效率高的学生往往能够在课堂上掌握教师讲授的大部分内容。听课要做到：紧跟各个教学环节，如复习、引入、呈现、练习和巩固等；要集中精力，听懂教师的讲解，并做好笔记，做到多管齐下，五官并用，即眼看、耳听、脑想、口说、手写，从而提高课堂效率；积极参与课堂活动，如回答问题、对话、角色扮演和复述等3. 做好学习笔记在书上做笔记不同颜色的笔在重点单词、 短语及句子下划线\\五角星标出新句型三角形标出旧句型、圆圈标出介词和连词、方框标出新的短语和词组直线或水浪曲线划出课文中的关键句在笔记本上做笔记1.重点单词和短语 2.每单元的语法4. 英语一日常规要求设计意图：通过对学生做出具体的要求，让学生在新学期学会如何在课前、课中、课后各个环节进行有效的学习，达到高效学习的目的。Step8. Emotional Education如果将英语的26个字母由A到Z分别编上1到26的分数.你的知识(KNOWLEDGE)只能得到11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5=96分你努力工作(HARDWORK)也只能得到8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11=98分只有你的态度(ATTITUDE)才是左右你生命全部的1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5=100分设计意图：通过这样的情感教育，让学生了解好的学习态度对英语学习的关键作用，从而对在英语学习中形成正确的人生观和价值观，为学生的人生发展奠定基础。
