It's Short and fat!2. 跟读对话;表演对话;表演儿歌3.运用已有知识理解故事《Dear Zoo》,通过故事扩展动物与形容词汇6. 引导学生大胆表达对动物的感觉和喜好,增强自信,渗透爱护动物,保护动物的意识二、教材分析:本课是三年级下学期第三单元第二课时,通过老师带领同学们到动物园参观,学习四个形容词高矮胖瘦,句型It’s so tall...所涉及到的部分动物名称和形容词tall是已知内容,教材内容比较有趣,贴近学生实际生活。三、学生分析:学生经过一个学期的学习,能够初步形成通过观察图片,听音等方式获取信息的能力,乐于使用所学内容进行交流,但词汇量较小,表达能力有限。四、教学过程:1. Greeting. Today we are going to go to Unit 3. Look at the picture, who can you see? Try to guess where are they? Do you like animals? What animals do you like? Where can we see the animals? So today we are going to learn Unit 3 At the zoo.2. Sing a song. Here’s a song about what the animals say. Listen and guess.3. Our friends are at the zoo. What are they talking about?4. Listen to the story and check the answer.5. Show the pictures one by one, listen and try to answer the questions like “What does Miss White say? Who ‘s coming?” Then solve the details. New words and sentense”giraffe, tall, short, fat, thin, It’s (so) tall....”6. Can you be tall/ short/ fat/ thin? Chant together.7. Listen to the whole story again, try to say together, then read by yourselves.8. Work in groups, and try to act the dialog out. Now, let’s go to the zoo! Look at the .....It’s (so).....9.So much for the story “At the Zoo.” I have another story about the zoo, do you want to have a look? Show the book and try to guess what the story is about.10. Listen to the story and check the answer.11. What animals are in the story? Listen again and find out the animals.12. Can the animals be a pet? Why? Find out the reason and listen again.13. If you are the zoo, what animals do you want to send for a pet? Why?14. Show the animals’ pictures, animals are our friends, but more and more animals have disappeared, they have gone, what can we do? We should protect them, meanwhile protect ourselves.15. Homework.
