Working on a team is a good thing, but it can bring you some trouble. If people on your
team are not good at communication (沟通), you may often feel terrible. To create a successful
team, good communication is the most necessary for both the team members and the leader (领
导). Here are some helpful suggestions.
●Don't criticize other people. When someone on your team does something wrong, don't
criticize him. You can help him to look for the reasons and then help him to solve the problem.
Criticizing your team members too often may make them want to keep away from you. As a
result, you may feel lonely.
●Listen to other people actively and think about their ideas carefully. When someone tells
you about his ideas, you should listen to him actively and think about his ideas carefully, no
5
matter how foolish they may seem. This shows you are interested in his ideas and makes him
feel good. If you are unclear about something, you should ask him about it. By doing this you
can clear up any confusion (困惑) before moving on.
●Share your own ideas with other people. When you have a new idea, talk about it with
your team members. This helps to make the idea better. Besides, it also helps to make your
relationships with your team members better.

Sherry

Dear Sherry,
To be honest, you can only do your best to exercise, eat well, sleep well and hope for the
best. After all, how tall you can grow mostly depends on your genes. I've been short for pretty
much my whole life and a lot of people have made fun of me for it.
But the thing is ,it doesn't really matter that much. I know it hurts when your classmates
make fun of you, but this will happen less often as you grow up. There will always be some
people who judge you based on your height. But there isn't anything you can do to change their
minds. And if someone thinks less of you because of your height, he or she is probably not
someone who is worth getting to know anyway. Love yourself for who you are—you're the
only you there is.

十、One possible version:
We often have some problems in doing homework. However, some of us
are too shy to ask teachers for help. And some are afraid to be laughed at by others.
What can we do about that?
I think asking our teachers for help is the best way. The teachers will like us
if we ask them questions. They will not be angry with us. We may also ask our
classmates, friends or family for help. And I don't think they will laugh at us. We
can also get help from the Internet if our family and friends are too busy. It's easy,
too.
