Step 1.Preparation
1.Sing and act:“Wish youhappy everyday”

What subject do you like?(学生根据实际情况回答,教师说He/she likes…)
(设计意图:欢快的歌曲演唱充分调动了全班同学的学习积极性,缓解了学生的紧张情绪。师生间自由的口语交际,为接下来的教学热身创设了积极的氛围,同时教师在此过程中大量地让学生感知He/Shelikes…,为接下来的学习与练习做了铺垫。)
Step 2.Presentation andPractice
1.游戏导人新课,教学单词hobby,hobbies
T(拉小提琴、看电视、读杂志等):What am I doing?
S:Are you…?
T:Yes。you aye right.I like··’My hobby is‘‘‘
(让学生多次听到hobby这个新词并在头脑中猜想它的意思。)
T:In spring,my hobby isflying the kites.In summer myhobby is swimming.(板书单词hobby并跟读)Today we willtalk about our hobbies(揭题Unit 3 Hobbies)I like swim—ming,running and listening tomusic.So I have many hobbies.
(设计意图:通过教师演、学生猜的形式自然而有趣味地引出本课的主题。在教师生动的描述中集中地让学生感知hobby一词,猜测其含义,最后再进行认读和拼读。这样“词不离句”的训练,使学生不仅掌握了单词本身的拼读,而且形象地了解其含义和运用。)
2.教学句型Do you haveany hobbies?Yes.I do.I like
a.T:I have many hobbies.Do you have any hobbies?
S:Yes,I do.I like…(板书句型)
(师生学生回答后说He/She likes…)
b.同桌进行练习。
(设计意图:在前面大量交流教师爱好的基础上,自然将话题转至谈论学生的爱好上,水到渠成,由交际的需要引出本课重点句型Do you have anyhobbies?过渡巧妙,衔接紧密。
而且,教师在此处又一次有意识地让学生感知He/She likes…)
3.教学词组take photos,grow flowers
a.T(出示多张照片)I havemany hobbies.Look,what aremy hobbies?
I like taking photos.
b.板书词组。take photos并跟读
C.Do you like takingphotos?当学生肯定回答时,教师渗透He/She likes takingphotos.
d.同法教学grow flowers。
e.教师出示相关物品、做相关动作,学生猜词组。
4.Sing a song“Hobbies’’
a.出示歌词,让学生熟悉一下,有节奏地朗读一遍。
b.听录音一遍后跟唱一遍。
5.教学单词collect及词组collect stamps
a.师出示很多邮票,说:Look.what are these?They’restamp8.They’re beautiful.(板书单词stamp并跟读)
I like collecting stamps.(板书单词collect并跟读) b.T:I like collecting rulers/Dencils…How about you?(让学生练习用collect造句)
c-T:I like coHecting stamps.Do you like collecting stamps?当学生回答“是”时;师给他一张邮票并说Here’S a monkey
stamp/flower stamp/…(让学生听一下各种邮票的表达法,为下一课时的教学做铺垫。)
d.学生练习说句子I likecollecting coins/stamps.
6.Play a game(巩固刚学的词组,过渡到下一环节)
教师给学生一些动作或实物提示,让学生猜教师的爱好。
T:What’s my hobby?
S:You like growing flowers/collecting stamps/taking photos。。’
7.Sing“Hobbies”again改编歌词,加入collect stamps
(设计意图:运用图片、实物、动作等多样化地呈现、操练本课词组,直观形象,并结合学生实际做适当拓展,培养学生的发散性思维。此处通过一首歌将本课的重点词组与句型巧妙地结合在一起。琅琅上口的曲调,轻快的节奏使原本机械枯燥的词组、句型操练变得趣味横生,学生兴趣高涨,乐于参与,勇于开口。)
8.教学词组go shopping/make model ships/make clothes及句型He/She likes…
a.T:I have many hobbies.How about my friends?Do youwant to know?Look,they arehere.(课件出示三位朋友Jim,Miss Wang,Anny.师介绍)Theyare my good friends.You Canask them.

e.同桌模仿编对话并表演。
(设计意图:借助多媒体,采用人机对话,使词组的出示改变了形式。本环节的教学重点He/She likes…已在前面几个环节中做了大量的渗透铺垫,难度有所降低,所以学生不觉得突兀。)
Step 3.Look,Read and Learn

(设计意图:采用朗读的方式小结本课的学习重点,简单明了,使学生一目了然。)
Step 4.Do aSurvey

a.教师和一生示范通过问答填调查表。
b.学生调查两位同学的爱好,完成调查表。
e.汇报调查结果。

指名汇报。(练习运用句型——like…)
(3)小组内汇报。
(设计意图:为了教单词句型而教单词句型,那是一节失败的课。英语教学的关键是让学生学了知识以后能够在日常生活中自由地运用。因此,本堂课最后我给学生布置了调查的任务。小调查给学生提供了互相学习、互相交流的机会,学生们在与同伴的合作交流中更好地掌握、运用了所学内容,增强了学习英语的自信心。调查后的汇报交流是必不可少的环节,既可以反馈学生的调查结果,又让学生再一次得到了实践的机会,练习了I like…这个难点。)
