Pandas love bamboo.用一般现在时描述动物及其习性。 2.能力目标：能用所学的句型谈论动物及其习性，培养学生开口说英语的习惯。 3.情感目标：通过了解动物与人类的关系，培养学生热爱动物的情感和自觉保护动物的意识。 4.学习策略：采用激励性评价，在教学活动中充分激发学生的求知欲和表现欲；通过小组合作学习，培养学生自主学习和运用语言的能力。 Ⅱ.教学重难点 1.重点：Elephants like water. T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you. And how are you? T: I’m fine, too. Thank you. 2.T: Ok, boys and girls, do you like animals? Ss: Yes. T: Now I have a song about animals for you. Let’s enjoy it together. 《Old Macdonald has a zoo.》 【设计意图】选择与课文主体部分相关的歌谣作为热身环节，不但有效的调动课堂气氛，更主要的是能直接切入文本。 3. T: Boys and girls, do you like playing games? Ss: Yes. T: Ok, let’s guess a riddle. (1)They have got long tails. (尾巴） They climb trees very fast. They like bananas. What are they?    They are monkeys. (2)They are long. They have got small heads. They have got no legs. T: Today Ms Smart, Mr Smart and Sam go to the zoo. They visit lots of animals. Let’s watch and answer the question： What do pandas love? They love bamboo and birds. 【设计意图】通过情景的创设，让学生更快的投入到文本的学习。 2. Listen and repeat. Pay attention to your pronunciations. 3. T: Boys and girls, do you know more about pandas? Let’s read it together.（PPT展示） Pandas live in the south of China. They are mild.(温顺的) They love bamboo. Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They can eat 40 pounds of bamboo every day. They can climb up the trees. There are only about 1,000 pandas living in the wild.（进行简单讲解） T：So we should love pandas and love the animals.（情感教育） 【设计意图】通过对熊猫生活习性的了解，巧妙的对学生进行情感教育。 4.T：Now look at these pictures. Play a game: Guess , ask and answer.（师问生答，生问生答） Eg: T: They love the sun. What are they? Ss: Snakes. 【设计意图】灵活设计“猜一猜，答一答”活动，对所学的句型反过来进行巩固练习。 2. Read the sentences in your favourite ways. Snakes love the sun. 讲解小知识点。 (1)like to do and like doing are the seam meaning. (2)play with 和……一起玩 【设计意图】让学生以自己喜欢的方式对句型进行操练练习，并对知识点进行简单讲解。 3. Let’s have a chant. Pandas, pandas. Pandas love bamboo. Sheep, sheep. Sheep like grass. Elephants, elephants. Elephants like water. Snakes, snakes. Snakes love the sun. Dogs, dogs. Dogs like playing with children. Bears, bears. Bears like to sleep in winter. (Students clap hands and say the chant together. ) Say the chant in different ways.（男生、女生说；分组说；全班齐说。） 【设计意图】用chant的形式将句型进行操练巩固，读起来朗朗上口，学生掌握起来比较容易。 4. Snakes                   like               Dogs Pandas                                     Elephants Sheep                    love              Bears   教学反思： 为了让学生在本课学习中能更灵活自如地表达对动物习性及各种特征的了解，我设计了各种不同的教学活动，让学生在一系列轻松有趣的活动中，感受英语，享受英语，并很好地掌握语言知识。“谈论你所喜欢的动物”这一任务的设计更是激发了学生的学习热情，满足了他们的表现欲望，在体验和合作中增强了英语学习的信心。 在本课教学中，我根据学生的年龄特点和英语掌握情况，设计了一些活动，取得了较好的成效。 导入部分“猜动物”使学生的积极性很快就被调动起来，很快就导出了本单元的新授。学生在教师的引导下能听懂会说本课的对话，了解不同动物的生活习性，主要句型的运用也在任务实施过程中得到很好的运用。通过小组读对话、chant、谈论动物等活动，很好地体现了小组合作学习，学生在愉快的氛围中学会了知识。
