英语六年级下册Unit 1 How tall are you? A. Let’s learn教学设计一、教材分析:本单元学习的主题是比较人的身高体重。主情景图通过展示孩子们在恐龙博物馆里参观的情境呈现本单元要学习的核心词汇和句型。这一单元的内容分为主情景图、A、B和C 四个部分,本课时是A部分中的Let’s learn。本部分学习的是形容词的比较级形式:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer等。教材通过孩子们对比身高、年龄等情景呈现了单词比较级的词形和意义。二、学情分析: 通过上一学期的教学,大多数学生英语学习有所进步,学习态度有所好转,上学期通过采用学习新知识和复习旧知识相结合的方法,他们的学习有所进步。这个学期,他们将步入六年级的第二学期,学生的学习负担会越来越重,他们将面临着毕业和升中学考试的压力,我们要正确引导学生关注英语,重视英语。三、教学目标:1.知识目标:(1) 能够听、说、读、写单词:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer。(2) 能够听、说、认读句子: How tall are you? I’m 1.61metres. I’m taller. You’re older than me , too.2.能力目标:(1)能够运用上述单词描述人物的外貌特征;(2)能够理解形容词比较级的基本构词规律;(3)能够运用新学的内容完成 “Do a survey and report”任务。 3.情感态度:(1)培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立学生学习英语的信心 。(2)让学生养成积极锻炼身体的习惯。四、教学重点:1.学习单词:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer;2.掌握句子:How tall are you? Grouping:dividing the whole class into several groups.(设计意图:调节课堂气氛,吸引学生的注意力,提高学生的学习兴趣。)Step 2 Leading inActivity: Naysayer教师出示形容词的单词卡片,女同学说出老师出示卡片的相应的单词,男同学则马上说出它的反义词,然后交换。比一比,看谁说的又快又准。(设计意图:复习形容词类的单词。)Step 3 Presentation1.教学单词younger, older, taller, shorter, longer(1)教学单词younger, older(利用课件出示图片)T:Look, This is Sarah, this is Miss White. Sarah is 12 years old, Miss White is 30 years old. Sarah is young, she is younger than Miss White. Miss White is old, she is older than Sarah.教师板书:young----younger old----older,告知学生younger是young的比较级,older----old的比较级。当两者进行比较时就是比较级。一般情况下,比较级通常是在单词的末尾加上er,er 发[ə]的音。最后,教师带读单词younger和older。并让学生用升降调练习单词的发音,男生读younger,女生读older,然后交换练习。(2)教学单词taller, shorter(用课件出示图片)T: Look at the picture, They are comparing their height. Zhang Peng is taller than John, John is shorter than Zhang Peng.教师板书:tall----taller short----shorter, 教师边做动作边带读单词,接着教师做动作,男生说出该动作的单词,女生说出该单词的比较级,然后交换练习。(3) 教学单词longer(用课件出示图片)T:Today, Chen jie is wearing a dress, Amy is wearing a skirt. Can you see the difference?(引导学生回答)T:Yes, The dress of Chen jie is long, and Amy's skirt is short. Chen's dress is longer than Amy's skirt.教师板书:long----longer ,教师边做动作边带读:long, long, longer… 接着,教师说long,学生说longer。2. 教学A. Let’s learn(1)播放A. Let’s learn部分的动画,让学生静听。(2)再次播放动画,让学生边听边跟读。(3)让学生分组模仿动画中的对话。Step 4 Practice1.Look and write:出示本课时学习的四会单词:younger, older, taller, shorter, longer,让学生拿出英语本练习书写,每个写一遍。(设计意图:培养学生正确书写单词的能力。)2.Make a comparison让学生分小组用本课时所学的词汇带入对话中进行对话练习,然后请部分同学进行展示。如:A: How old are you?
