A Meaningful Day
It was a Sunday and it was a fine day. In the morning when I got up, I didn't realize it would be a
meaningful day that I would always remember.
That day, our school organized us students to pay a study visit. We got together at 7 o'clock and set out
for City Revolutionary Memorial. On the way, we listened to a lot of moving stories about revolutionaries
and couldn't wait to pay our respect to them. After one hour, we arrived there and presented flowers to
salute them.
Through this experience,I have a deeper understanding of how hard it is to have the present peaceful
days and I am determined to cherish every day from now on.

Knowing that you’re interested in our school’s Innovative Lantern Show, I’m writing to share
something about it.
Last Saturday evening, hundreds of lighted lanterns, all of which were students’ self-made works,
were hanging between the trees on our campus, getting viewers into a fantastic world. Additionally, the
variously shaped lanterns were all made of recycled waste such as plastic bottles or cardboard, serving as a
reminder for us to protect the environment.

Aiming to relax students，our school organized an outing to the Forest Park on July 2.

On Monday afternoon, the first "campus picking festival" was launched on the school playground. At
first, the principal made a speech and announced the official start of the activity. After that, all the Grade
One students went to the plantation where there were various fruits ranging from strawberries to apples to
pick them and share the fruits of their labor. They weighed the fruits they got and picked the top three.
Everyone looked happy and satisfied. All the students think this activity has developed their life skills and
given them a sense of belonging to our school, and they look forward another activity like this.
