As we all know, the ecological environment greatly affects the citizens’ daily life. Not only does

In the meanwhile, the large amount of public green land will give tourists a good first
impression. It’s the best name-card for a city, speaking louder than any good words. Perhaps this

It is a great honor for Shanghai to hold the Expo in 2022 By then, the environment will be quite

Accordingly, from my viewpoints, schools should terminate test-oriented education for the
sake of the children nowadays.
In the first place, test-oriented education exerts such negative influence on children as to
reduce their ability of imagination. What’s more, the pressure of getting high marks and the fear of
making mistakes tense their nerves and deprive (使 丧失) them of a care-free (without worry)
childhood.
Besides，exam results have long been the sole (only) criterion of judging a person’s ability
even since distant dynasties whereas a man’s real quality can hardly be reflected merely by scores.
As a matter of fact, test-oriented education can no longer meet our need.

Self-education bring success. Though we students have teachers to help us, still we should
pay due attention to self-study. Self- study has many benefits.
First, every new book we read will benefit us in one way or another. The more we read, the

try to read as many books as we can.
Second, self-study can improve our memory and reasoning powers（推理能力）. If we read

Nowadays, cheating in exams is commonplace in colleges and universities. It is considered to
be a major problem by the school authorities. Some students do not study hard at their usual time.
But during the examinations, they always cheat in order to pass them.
Cheating in examinations has very bad effects. First, it is impossible to reveal one's weakness
of knowledge. So it is difficult for a teacher to know how to help such students. Second, it may
encourage other students to cheat in the examinations, too. Third, it is not helpful for fair
competition. Some students do not study hard, and yet their grades are higher.
In my opinion, cheating in examinations is an unhealthy tendency. As a student, we should

usually the cause of misery to the poor. In this materialistic world, the poor need to have a
philosophical mind to make themselves happy. But the world of happiness does not only belong to
the rich, the poor have a right to it. We often see poor yet happy people. The reason lies in the fact
that happiness derives (comes) directly from contentment. So long as the poor are satisfied with
themselves and their conditions, they feel happy.
It would be perfect to possess both wealth and happiness. But if the two cannot be
possessed at the same time, I would rather choose happiness.
Competition and Cooperation
Competition and cooperation are involved in every field of life and work. For example, in
football match, all players on the team must work with joint efforts in order to win the match. Such
activities require teamwork. If you are a shopkeeper and wish customers to buy your products, you
have to compete with others. Competition stimulates people to improve their work and makes the
world develop rapidly.
Actually in many activities, both competition and cooperation are required. For instance, in
learning English, we compete with each other. As a result, we all make great progress. Our study
