Lesson 14: What Time is it?
一、 教学目标:
1. 知识与技能:复习天气的英语句型和单词。掌握What time is it ? 和When is it? 两个问句的用法。
2. 过程与方法:本节课讲述了李明一天的活动情况。此年龄段的学生活泼好动,乐于表达,多鼓励学生讲述自己的一天。多多锻炼学生的口语和交际能力。另外采用歌曲的方式使学生在快乐中更好的巩固本堂课所学的内容。
3. 情感态度与价值观:培养学生积极学习英语的态度,使学生之间能团结协作。发扬合作精神,乐于模仿、敢于开口、积极参与,养成良好的学习习惯。
二、教学重难点:
教学重点:学生熟练运用What time is it ? 和When is it? 进行对话练习。
教学难点:理解课文内容。

教师拨时针和分针。提问。

七点二十: twenty past seven (seven twenty)
8点:8 o’clock或eight o’clock
九点四十: twenty to ten (nine forty)
教师边拨表盘边进行提问。
T: What time is it?
Ss: ….
T: Yes, it’s time for breakfast.
So when is breakfast?
T: At seven o’clock in the morning.
T: You go to school every day. When do you go to school?
Ss: ….
T: When is school?
Ss: At eight o’clock in the morning.
T: When is supper?
Ss: At half past six in the evening.
