第13课时 九年级 Units 1~2 考点一 by的用法 【课文原句】 —How do you study for a test?你怎样为考试学习? —I study by working with a group.我通过和小组一起学习。(九P1) (1)by doing sth. 意为“通过……(方法、途径)做某事”,常用来回答how引导的特殊疑问句。介 词by在此处表示“通过;以”,其后常接动词ing形式。 —How do you learn English?你是怎么学习英语的? —By watching TV.通过看电视。 (2)by的其他用法 ①“by+地点”表示“在……旁边”。 My grandfather sat down by the door.我爷爷坐在门旁边。 ②“by+时间”表示“在……之前”。 Can you finish your homework by 5 o’clock?五点之前你能做完作业吗? ③“by+交通工具”表示“搭/乘……”。 I go to work by bike every day.我每天骑自行车上班。 ④by还可表示连续或反复,意为“(一个)接着(一个);(一个)又(一个)”。 Don’t read word by word.不要一个字一个字地读。 1.(2018·广东河源第一次月考)We often learn English words ___ making word cards. They are similar in appearance.他们长得 很像。 same 表示事物完全相同,常与the连 用。表示“与……相同”时, 用the same as... The sentence means the same as that one. 这个句子和那个句子 的意思相同。 考点十一 whoever的用法 【课文原句】 Whoever took this could live forever, and Hou Yi planned to take it with Chang’e.无论谁吃了这种仙药都能长生不老,后羿准备和嫦娥一起吃。(九P11) whoever意为“无论谁;不管什么人”,可以引导名词性从句和让步状语从句。 引导让步状语从句时,whoever相当于no matter who。 Whoever comes will be welcomed.无论谁来都欢迎。 Anyone may point out our mistakes in the work, whoever he is.任何人,不管他是谁, 都可以指出我们工作中的错误。 考点十二 admire的用法 【课文原句】 After this, people started the tradition of admiring the moon and sharing mooncakes with their families.从此,人们开始了赏月并且与家人共享月饼的传统 习俗。(九P11) admire意为“欣赏;仰慕”,常用搭配有admire sb. for (doing) sth.“因(做)某事而 钦佩某人”。 I admire you for your courage.我钦佩你的勇气。 考点十三 treat的用法 【课文原句】 He is mean and only thinks about himself.
