Who can fly?Purpose: It is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by saying and doing some total response and at the same time it provides situations to review learned knowledge for the next step.Step2 Presentation1. Have Ss listen and look. Present the sentence：Where is Gogo going ?(Show the second picture on page 3.) He’s going to an island.  What are they doing? They’re swimming (playing badminton).2. Have Ss read the questions and listen again. Then answer the questions.Purpose: Let the students listen and understand the dialogue.3. Listen and repeat. Purpose: Let the students listen and repeat the dialogue. To train the students’ listening and speaking. 4. Practice acting out the dialog in groups. (Conversation)5. Ask Volunteers to perform in front of the class.Purpose: Let the students act out the dialog , can deepen students understanding of the conversation. ConclusionHave Ss read new words and sentences together.Purpose: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this period. Step5. Homework.Draw a picture of your family members, e.g. father, mother, aunt, uncle, grandmother, etc. Talk about their jobs with your friends.  Purpose: Revision is so important that Ss should speak English as much as they as in class or after class. It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned.
