摘要小说翻译中存在“假象等值”现象,即译文与原文看上去大致相同,但文学价值或文学意义相去较远。小说原文中一些带有美学价值但表面上不合逻辑或不合情理的语言成分被译者擅自改动,成为符合日常逻辑的文字,这一过程又使译文失去了原本的美学意义。换言之,小说翻译中“假象等值”的出现原因之一在于译者对原文中语言成分与主题意义的关联缺乏充分认识,未能很好地把握原文的文本价值。文学文体学作为文体学的一个重要分支,运用现代语言学的理论及分析方法,集中探讨了作者如何通过对语言特征的选择来表达和加强主题意义和美学效果。将文学文体学引入小说翻译,有助于译者更加系统、科学地认识原伪提高对原作的审美意识,从而更好地在译作中保留原作的主题及审美价值,对解决小说翻译中的“假象等值"现象有一定的积极意义。本文以申丹就小说翻译中的“假象等值”提出的理论为依据,以白睿文英译《长恨歌》为研究对象,从词汇表达、句法及引语三个不同层面对《长恨歌》英译本做了文体分析,并列出具有代表性的案例,分析其语言特征及所蕴含的文体意义和美学价值,在证实小说翻译中存在“假象等值”现象的同时,提出如何体会原文语言成分的美学意义。关键词文学文体学,假象等值,小说翻译,《长恨歌》
