The pig is very small, but the dog is very big.板书small和big.结合物品学习单词，全班带读，拼读，小组读，个别读。2：出示尺子教学long和short各种形式读。Step2:活动：Bomb Game,炸弹游戏把其中一个单词设置成炸弹，当老师读到这个单词时，所有学生“嘘”，当没有读到这个单词时，所有学生跟老师一起读。Step3:Teach the sentences:It has…出示长颈鹿提问：T：What’s this? What are they?(tiger panda duck elephant)2: I give some pictures for you.Let’s make a talk with these sentences: Look at the….It has…请每组一两位学生上台描述。六、ConsolidationLet’s do(PartB部分)1:先播放Let’s do录音，边听边感受。2：再次听录音，边听边做动作3：学生边说边做动作。4：请几位学生上台表演。七、Make a summary根据板书总结本课学习内容，学生齐读。八、Homework1:Copy the new words five times.2:Make a dialogue with your partner.九、板书设计 big      small      long  shortIt has..... 十、教学反思PEP小学英语三年级下册Unit 3At the zoo.Part B Let’s learn主要是学习词：long,short,small,big.以及描述该动物的句子：It has a small head and a short tail.通过学习，学生能够用英语描述动物的身体部位特征。这节课学习有关“动物”的话题，目的是让学生根据动物的特点用单词tall\short\big\small\long\short描述身体部位。我在设计这一节课的时候，除了大象之外，还注意选择具有特点的动物，如长颈鹿、老鼠、猴子、狗等描述性强的动物，好让学生容易抓住特点，提高口语的表达。在新授的过程中，我遵循词不离句的原则，把单词放进句型中操练和应用，滚动复现了大量已学词汇，有效地避免了遗忘，也赋予了新词汇新句式生命力。这样，有利于词汇的积累和语言运用在滚动中螺旋式上升，促进了学生活学活用能力的提高。
