Unit4 An English friend
Aims and demands.
The main function items in the Unit are “talking about an English friend.’’ The focal points are the sentence patterns “Does he/she…? Yes, he does. No, he doesn’t.” .Through guestures and facial expressions ,require the students to learn several kinds of active phrases .Through situational teaching ,ask the students to talk something about their friends , require the Ss to use v. and adv. properly in a certain situation.
Time arrangement
This Unit can be divided into four to five periods.
The First Period
