Ⅰ.教学准备
1.教师:录音机、磁带、图片、多媒体课件。
2.学生:准备一份班级的课程表;调查各科的任课教师。
Ⅱ.教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)词汇:why,because,Monday,Friday,Saturday
(2)句型:
—What's your/his/her favorite subject?—My/His/Her favorite subject is science.
—Why does Bob like history?—Because it's interesting.
—Who is your music teacher?—My music teacher is Ms.Xie.
—When is your geography class?—It's on Monday and Friday.
2.能力目标:
通过本课学习,掌握一些词汇、句型等语言知识,能运用所学词汇、句型与他人谈论喜爱的学科,提高英语口语表达能力。
3.情感目标:通过互相谈论喜欢的学科,增进同学之间的了解和友情。
4.文化意识:了解英语国家学生的学习生活,增强跨文化交际的意识。

Ⅴ.教学步骤
Step 1:Leadin
建议:教师通过提问方式,复习上节课所学的内容。然后告诉学生将进行一次听力测试,让学生听2a的录音,以检验学生对刚才提问内容的掌握程度。
For example:
T:Class!What's your favorite subject?
S1:My favorite subject is...
T:Why do you like...?
S1:Because it's...
T:Class!Now,have you grasped all the sentences above?Let's have a listening test.
Then get to 2a.Let the students listen and put the conversation in order.
After listening,check the answers to see how well they did.
Step 2:Practice
建议:教师让学生熟读几遍对话,然后让学生两人合作练习对话,找几组同学在课上表演。
For example:
T:Class!First,please read the conversation aloud by yourselves.Next,please practice performing the conversations in pairs.Then I'll call some of you to act out.
S1:What's your favorite subject?
S2:My favorite subject is P.E.
S1:Why do you like P.E.?
S2:Because it's fun.
Step 3:Leadin
建议:教师问学生是否喜欢某些学科以及喜欢或不喜欢的原因。在学生回答原因时,引导学生尽量使用更多的描述性词语。
For example:
T:Class!Do you like science?
S1:Yes,I do.
T:Why do you like it?
S1:Because it's very interesting.

S2:No,I don't.
T:Why don't you like it?
S2:Because it's very difficult.
Step 4:Task
建议:通过步骤3的导入,教师问学生是否会用这些词语来描述学科,问学生这些是什么词,从而引出形容词这一概念。然后过渡到2b,听录音,配对。
For example:
T:Class!Just now we talked about why you like some subjects and why you don't like some subjects.What part of speech are these words?Can you use these words?
Introduce the definition of adjectives to the class.Then get to 2b.
Step 5:Consolidation
建议:教师将听力原文投放在屏幕上,把重点单词去掉。让学生再听一遍录音,填出单词,补全对话。
For example:
T:Class!Look at the listening text.Listen to the tape again,write out the missing words.
After listening,call one or two individuals to check the answers.See how well they did.
Step 6:Practice
建议:教师让学生自己熟读几遍对话,然后让学生两人合作练习对话。最后找几组学生在课上进行表演。
For example:
T:Class!First,please read the conversations aloud by yourselves.Next,please practice performing the conversations in pairs.Then I'll call some of you to act out.
Step 7:Task
建议:教师问学生对2b中所说的学科的看法,是否喜欢这些学科以及喜欢或不喜欢的原因。然后让学生两人合作编对话并进行表演。

T:Why do you think so?Why do you like art?
S1:Because I think it's very fun.

Step 8:Task
建议:教师让学生在小组内做个调查,调查组内成员对所学的各门学科是否喜欢以及原因。找两三组学生在班内表演。
For example:
T:Class!Please make a survey in your group.Ask each member of your group what he or she thinks of the subjects and why he or she thinks so.
S1:Hello!I'm a reporter from the TV Station.I want to ask you what you think of the subjects and why you think so.

Step 9:Leadin
建议:教师先问学生今天过得怎么样,过渡到问最喜欢一周中哪一天以及为什么喜欢,然后再问最喜欢什么学科,继而问这一学科的老师是谁,什么时候上这一学科。通过这一系列提问,引出下一步要学的新句型。对这些新句型进行简要的点拨和讲解。
For example:
T:Class!How is your day?
Ss:It's OK.
T:What's your favorite day?
S1:My favorite day is Monday.
T:Why do you like Monday?
S1:Because I have P.E.and science on Monday.
T:What's your favorite subject?
S2:My favorite subject is science.
T:When is your science class?
S2:It's on Monday and Friday.
T:Who is your science teacher?
S2:My science teacher is Mr.Hu.
Step 10:Practice
建议:教师将步骤9中的新句型总结在屏幕上,让学生熟读几遍。然后让学生两人一组练习这些句型。找几组学生表演练习。
For example:
T:Class!Please read the drills aloud.Then practice the drills in pairs.
S1:What's your favorite day?
S2:My favorite day is...
S1:Why do you like...?
S2:Because I have...on...
S1:When is your...?
S2:It's on...and...

Step 11:Practicew
建议:通过以上的练习,学生已基本上掌握这些句型。然后过渡到2d,让学生熟读几遍2d中的对话,问学生是否有不理解的地方,教师给予点拨。然后让学生两人一组练习这个对话。
For example:
T:Class!Please read the conversation aloud in 2d.
Then ask the students if they have something that they can't understand.
If they have,the teacher gives them a brief explanation.
Next,let the students practice performing the conversation in pairs.Call some pairs to act out.
Step 12:Task
建议:让学生根据自己所在学校和班级的真实情况,模仿2d对话的内容,与同伴合作编个新对话并表演。
For example:
T:Class!Can you make a new similar conversation according to your reality?
Then let the students work in pairs.Call some pairs to act out in class.
Step 13:Presentation
建议:教师问一个学生喜欢什么学科以及喜欢的原因,然后问班内其他同学这个学生喜欢什么学科以及喜欢的原因,通过这种方式引出下面要学的新句型:

建议:让学生用本节课所学的what,why,who,when引导的特殊疑问句来造句。鼓励学生尽量用一些不同的单词,不要局限于本节课所学的内容。比一比,看谁造的句子好。
