T:Some inventions have changed our lives, such as telephone, cars, computers and so on. They are helpful. But some inventions were invented by accident or by mistake. They are also helpful to us. Tea was invented by accident. And we will learn the inventions that were invented by mistake. Do you know what it was?
环节说明:教师用已学的知识导入新课,用学生未学的知识来激发学生的兴趣,同时巩固了语法点“be invented”。
Step 3完成教材la〜2e教学任务
1.要求学生翻开课本,迅速阅读1a部分的内容,并按要求完成课本上相应的任务:“Write words to describe the tastes of the food in la. ”,然后要求 4 名 学生给出自己的答案,并进行个读、齐读。(2分钟)
2.要求学生完成lb部分的任务:“Write another kind of food of the same taste. ”,然后找几名学生给出自己的答案。并把收集的答案列举在黑板上。(4分钟)

Do you like potato chips? Do you know how the potato chips were invented? Now,let’s listen and fill in the blanks.
Potato chips were invented by mistake. They were invented by a cook called george Crum. One day a customer thought the fried potatoes werent thin enough and weren’t salty enough. So george cut them really thin and cooked them for a long time until they were crispy. And he put a lot of salt on them so they were salty.
