探究一：重点单词
raise v. 筹募（钱财）
In just three days, the school raised $1200.
仅仅三天时间，学校筹集了1200美元。
思考：
raise 是____________ (及物/不及物)动词，意为“筹集，募捐（钱财）”。
拓展：
1）raise 还有“饲养；举起，使升高”的意思。
例: 1. They raised sheep on the farm. 他们在农场养羊。
2. Raise your hands, please. 请举手。
2） rise 不及物动词，表示“（太阳、月亮或影子等）上升，升起”，还常用来表示“某人或某物自身不借助外力起来或升起”，过去式为rose;
raise作及物动词，还表示“将某人或某物抬起来或举起”,其后需接宾语，过去式为raised。
例：The sun rises in the east. 太阳从东方升起。
He raised the child from the ground。他把孩子从地上抱起来。
