1. 原句:Although he is over 65, he is very fit and still enjoys working. (Line 1)
although=though,“虽然”,意义相同,用法基本一样,引导让步状语从句,可放主句前面或者后面,不能与______________连用,但可以使用yet.
eg. ____________________________ he was sixty, (yet) he began to learn French.
= He began to learn French, ___________________________ he was sixty.
虽然他已经60了,但是还开始学了法语。
even though:“即使,就算…”,有退一步设想的意思,强调让步。
eg. I’ll go there even though it rains tomorrow. 即使明天下午我还是要去。
