1.belong to是动词短语,意为“属于”,不用于进行时态,不用于被动语态,短语中的to是介词,后面接名词或代词,但不能接动词。
【注意】belong to后接名词或人称代词的宾格形式,不能加名词性物主代词或名词所有格形式。
2.belong to someone和be someone's 含义基本相同,都表示“属于某人”“归某人所有”但要注意用法上的区别:belong to中的to为介词,后加名词或宾格代词,而be someone's中有be动词,根据意思其后要接名词的所有格形式或名词性物主代词。

【点拨】 catch动词,过去式和过去分词均为caught。有以下意思:
(1)接住,抓住catch a ball

e.g.I can't catch the words of my teacher.我听不懂老师讲的话。
【注意】 catch为“赶上”的意思时,指赶上(车、船等)如catch a bus;而“赶上某人”则表达为catch up with sb.。
