书面表达(满分25分)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Li Hua,a student in Class 1,Grade 2. I have learned that our school radio station needs two English announcers. I’d like to have a try.
I am very good at English, especially at spoken English.I have received some professional training in my spare time, hoping that I can work as an announcer in the future. Now I would like to put what I have learned into practice and gain some experience.Besides, I won the first prize in the 2016 National English Speaking Contestfor high school students last year. Therefore, I think I am very fit for the job. HonestlyI hope that you can give me a chance to serve my schoolmates.
Looking forward to your early reply.
Yours,

听力录音材料
Text1
W: Is your brother still driving a bus?
M: No, he is running his own hotel now. You know, before he worked as a waiter in a restaurant.
Text 2
M: Excuse me. Where can I find the nearest bank?
W: There is a bank on Park Street. It’s about 100 kilometers, just across the shopping center.
Text 3
M: I wonder if you’d be interested in going to the cinema with me tonight?
W: Sorry, but I have to practice the piano tonight.
Text 4
M: What have you been studying?
W: Biology and chemistry. I like natural sciences. How about you?
M: I prefer social sciences. I like history best.
Text 5
M: I’m hungry. Do you want to make food or just go out tonight?
W: Let’s stay in and cook by ourselves.
M: Sounds good.
Text 6
W: Do you mind if I change the channel for a while?
M: You don’t want to continue watching the TV play series?
W: There are too many advertisements. They’re so boring.
M: But advertisements are also useful.
W: How?
M: They can help us find out about new services…
Text 7
W: Look at Tina. She looks like she’s on the top of the world.
M: Yes. She must have won the English competition.
W: If she has won it, then Mark must be sad right now. He wanted to win it so much.
M: Yes, I’m afraid Mark couldn’t even go. I met him yesterday. He told me he caught a bad cold.
W: I’m so sorry to hear that. Poor Mark. By the way, why didn’t you take part in the competition?
M: I had no time. I had to prepare for a coming exam.
Text8
W: What did you think of the meal at Mary’s dinner party last night?
M: Oh, I thought it tasted quite delicious. My favorite was the sweet corn.
W: Oh, yes, indeed! I thought Mary had gone to a lot of trouble to prepare everything well on the whole.
M: Perhaps the soup tasted a little salty, but it smelt very good.
W: And the white wine tasted very sweet and warm although the bottle felt cold.
M: When we had the cake, the fresh cream on it seemed strange and the coffee tasted bitter.
W: No wonder my stomach feels terrible this morning.
M: So does mine. But then, as I said, Mary had spent a lot of time cooking so many dishes for us. It was not easy.
W: You’re right. In fact, I shall ring Mary up and tell her how much we enjoyed it!
M: Yes! Excellent idea!
Text 9
W: Excuse me. I’m doing a survey on this high-speed railway station. Would you mind answering some questions?
M: Certainly not. My train was supposed to arrive at 4:00 pm, but it won’t come now until 5:00 pm. So I have one and a half hours to answer your questions!
W: Thanks. Could you tell me where you’re going and why you’re going there? For sightseeing or for visiting your family?
M: No. I’m going to Manhattan on business.
W: OK. Can you tell me how often you use the railway station?
M: I use it every Monday.
W: What do you think of the new restaurant?
M: I really have no idea. I haven’t eaten there yet. I usually eat at the restaurant across from the railway station.
W: So how do you usually get to the railway station? By taxi or subway?
M: Neither. I drive here and park my car in the railway station parking lot.
Text10
W: A husband and a wife were visiting New York City for the weekend. It was Sunday, and they were getting ready to go home. The husband had important business to talk about before they left, and the wife wanted to do some shopping, so they agreed to split up and meet at the airport before their flight. The husband left first and he took their luggage with him. The wife had not gotten dressed yet. When she did get dressed, she discovered that she only had a shirt to wear as her husband had taken all of her pants and skirts with him. She couldn’t go out in public. She looked in the hall of the hotel for someone to help her but there was no one there. Then she looked around the hotel room. She took a blanket, put it around her waist, and then she went downstairs to the shop in the hotel and bought some pants. People in the hotel looked at her strangely, but she got what she needed. She went back to her room, put the pants on, and went on her way.
