方位介词
在英语中,方位介词通常与后面的名词或代词构成介宾短语表示位置关系。本模块常用的方位介词或介词短语:
1.on the right/left of...“在……的左边/右边”。例如:
Thebankisontherightofthestreet.银行在街道的右边。
2.next to...“与……紧挨着”。例如:
Thebookshopisnexttothepostoffice.书店在邮局的隔壁。
3.opposite “在……对面”。例如:
Thesupermarketisoppositethemarket.超市在集市的对面。
4.on the corner of “在……的拐角处”。例如:
Thereisabookstoreonthecornerofthisroad.书店在这条路的拐角处。
5.between...and...“在……和……之间”。例如:
Thecinemaisbetweentherestaurantandthehotel.电影院在饭店和宾馆的中间。
除此之外,还有一些其他表示方位的介词短语,如at the end of...“在……尽头”,behind the door“在门后”,under the bed“在床下”,near the window“靠近窗户”,outside the gate“在门外”等。
问路与指路
1.问路用语:
(1)Excuse me,where’s the bank?打扰一下,请问银行在哪里?
(2)How can I get there?我怎么样到达那里?
(3)Could you tell me the way to the hospital?你能告诉我去医院的路吗?
(4)Do you know the way to the post office?您知道去邮局的路吗?

2.指路用语:
(1)Sure/Of Course/Certainly.当然可以。
(2)Go along the street./Go down this road.沿着这条街道/路走。
(3)Turn right/left at the second crossing.在第二个十字路口向右/左拐。
(4)You can take the No.24 bus here and get off at the first/second stop.您可以在此乘坐24路公交车到第一/第二站下车。
(5)Then you can see/find it on the right.然后你能看到它在右边。
(6)Sorry,I don’t know./Sorry,I can’t.对不起,我不知道。/对不起,我不能。
