while
的区别：
(1)
引导时间状语从句时，
while
连接的是时间段或与延续性动词连用，而
when
既可以连接时间点，又可以连接时间段；
when
既可以与延续性动词连用，又可以与短暂性动词连用。如：
While we were talking, the teacher came in.
当我们正在交谈时，老师进来了。
What was your mother doing when you came back?
当你回来时，你妈妈在做什么？

可以连接两个进行时态的句子，而
when
不可以。如：
I was trying my best to finish my work while my sister was
