Dear Head teacher,
I’m Sam Smith from America. I’m writing to look for a student in your school.
Yesterday morning, I visited an old village near your school. Everything was so beautiful and
interesting. I enjoyed myself a lot. But when I came back to the hotel, I found my bag was missing. I
was very worried because there were some important things in it, including my passport.
Just when I was going to call the police, the hotel manager came to my room with a schoolboy.
The boy was carrying my bag in his hand. He told me he found it in the village. I was so glad that I got
my bag back. But before I could say thank-you to him, he had left. The hotel manager told me he is
a student of your school.
As I’m leaving tomorrow, I can’t come and thank him myself. Could you please help me find
the boy and say thank-you to him?
