说课
本课生词较多,且不好理解。所以我把几个较难理解的物质类名词拟人化为五个朋友,拉近和学生之间的距离,使他们对其产生兴趣。在导入阶段我把这五个朋友做成一首歌,不仅活跃了课堂气氛,而且让学生通过哼唱对这几个单词有初步的概念,为接下来的学习做铺垫。学习完生词后,让学生通过谈论几种物质的用处来学会使用use … to …句型。通过观看地球的信的视频自然引出本单元课题:Protect the Earth。
在课文学习中,首先通过让学生对课题提问让他们学会带着问题进行阅读。对学生提出的问题进行梳理,提炼出what, why和how三个贯穿全文的问题。首先让学生速读课文,找出问题What should we do?的答案。
接着指导学生细读第一部分,关注细节。通过任务让学生了解本段主要内容,同时引导他们关注如何提出建议和陈述原因。在阅读中,注意对学生的读法指导。在本段中,我设置任务引导学生通过上下文猜出生词的意思。通过第一段的学习,学生对文章结构有了初步的了解,知道该从哪些方面去寻找信息,所以可以适当放手,让他们尝试自主阅读,然后通过判断来验证他们的阅读结果。到了三、四两段,学生已经完全拥有了自读能力,所以我让学生自己阅读并完成一个报告。然后让他们依次汇报,完成表格。通过这样一个信息差的活动,锻炼学生的听说能力。
在读后阶段,我制作了一个苏州的视频,让学生通过观看视频找出生活中不太环保的行为,用目标语言提出建议,使他们学会把目标语言运用到日常生活中。

本课时的学习内容为第七单元Grammar time,作为第2课时,基本环保的单词、理念在第1课时都已学过,第1课时涉及有些句型并没有详细、具体地加以运用。所以通过复习引出本课时所要学的内容,进一步巩固学习句型use … to …、What should we do?、What should we not do?,句型在板书上有条理地体现出来,便于学生复述。
通过学生自己观察重点例子,总结规律,说出句型。should和shouldn’t作为情态动词,学生自然也是能总结出用法和规律的。这锻炼了学生的观察能力和独立思考能力。
虽然是有关语法的课时,环保意识在课上还是需要反复强化,所以为了让学生进一步了解地球上的五种物质,增强他们保护地球的使命感,我安排了一个有关这些物质的音频。然后通过上面的听、说、读,最终以写的形式体现今天所学。

这是有关Culture time和Sound time的课时,通过配对和判断句子正误的练习,从已学的内容引入,既帮助学生复习了相关的句型,也让他们联系生活实际做出正确判断,使教学为生活服务。以教授过的主要句子为依托,顺利引出保护环境的特殊日子,让学生将两个相似的节日在标识、具体日期等方面进行对比,并配以详细的中文来由介绍,在此基础上,让
学生了解一些其他与保护环境相关的节日,说明我们人类现在对环境的重视。
围绕环境保护,以图片为主导,呈现了Sound time的四个含有字母组合oo的单词,并通过让学生造句发挥想象,充分发挥了学生的主观能动性和创作能力。在此基础上要求学生熟悉书上的句子,反复朗读,教师从停顿到升降调一一进行指导,细化Sound time部分的教学。朗读模仿增加适量时间。语音的教学需要联系之前所学,所以安排了分类活动,把含有字母组合oo的单词一一罗列进行归纳分类,使学生更好地了解oo在单词中的发音。

说课
本课是关于第七单元Cartoon time的课时。Cartoon time与Story time有相似之处,但处理时应更注重学生阅读能力的培养,同时让学生也参与到故事的建构中来。所以在本课开始时我先让学生复习前面Story time的内容,在热身的同时也为本课奠定一定的语言基础,创设了语境。然后由前文所学的保护地球的理念引入到具体该做什么事来保护地球,从而进一步引出课题和文本。在文本处理中首先让学生看四幅图并为它们排序,锻炼学生的读图观察能力,同时让他们对文本内容有一个整体的了解。接着让学生细读课文,把每个角色画的东西和角色进行配对,然后让学生在核对的同时预设人物的语言,参与到故事的建构中来。在最终的拓展任务中,我并没有强求学生一定要表演,而是针对能力不同的学生设计了三个难度不同的任务,让每个学生都有适合自己的事可做。

本课是练习和复习课,首先让学生在复习前面所学生词的基础上进行讨论,以此来巩固前面所学的句型。同时也为下一步教授新句型打好基础。相比直接告诉学生汉语,让学生在语境中理解和运用目标句型会更有效,同时也避免了学生用汉语思维学习英语的情况。学习过新句型后,我设计了一个游戏,让学生从包中随意拿出一个东西说出如何再利用,激活学生思维的同时也让学生把书本中所学的知识运用到现实生活中来。然后通过已学的What should … do?句型引到What should … not do?句型上。让学生观看现实生活的视频后给出建议,练习本单元目标句型。最后把学生给出的句子组合在一起,形成一个完整的海报,使学生感知如何制作海报。
