Ⅰ. Material analysis
本节课是以复习八年级上册第三单元为主的一节复习课,由于学生的知识水平和自学能力有限,因此在第一轮复习中将侧重“以本为纲”进行基础知识的重点复习,如:引导学生通过单词的构词法进行有效的记忆背诵单词;通过不断反复的词汇短语操练进行功能句子的熟练表达和运用,如:如何表达自己和他人的兴趣爱好;通过引导学生进行造句加强学生对本单元的语法句型过去进行时的理解并熟练运用如运用到写作中;引导帮助学生进行归纳总结,培养提高学生在复习阶段的自我归纳学习能力。
Ⅱ. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge aims:
掌握本单元的重点词汇和短语,并熟练运用过去进行时态。
2. Skill aims: 能够在听、说、读、写中正确运用所复习内容。
Ⅲ. The key points and difficult points
1. Key points: Words and phrases: be fond of , be interested in , like/love/enjoy prefer doing sth,used to do sth….and so on.
Sentences: sb. like/love/enjoy/prefer doing sth./ sb. used to do sth…
Grammar: sb. was/were doing sth. when....

IV. Teaching procedures
Step1. Warm up
Do some exercises to consolidate the words and phrases they have learned. Try to tell them some ways of remembering the words .
Step2. Lead in
1. Show some pictures to the Ss, ask and answer the questions to review the expression of likes and dislikes.

2. Use the sentences to talk about the pictures.
Step3. Grammar
1. Show some pictures to the Ss, ask and answer to guide them to make sentences with the Past Continuous Tense.
2. Guide the Ss to make a review and conclusion about the Past Continuous Tense, write down the key points on the Bb.
3. Finish the exercise , using the Past Continuous Tense to make some sentences., then change them into different kinds of sentences.
Step4.Consolidation & Practice
1. Play a guessing game to review the expression of likes and dislikes as well as the Past Continuous Tense.
2. Finish the exercise : make a sentence according to the words and the pictures given. Then check the answer.
3. Translate the sentences into English.
Step 5. Conclusion
Guide the Ss to make a conclusion about what we have reviewed in this lesson. Then take notes on their notebooks.
