1.The key is yellow.那钥匙是黄色的。(教材第S11页)
the是定冠词,意为“这个,那个,这些,那些”,用在可数名词单复数和不可数名词
之前,表示特指某人某物,以区别同类中的其他人或物。主要用于以下几种情况:
(1) 特指某人或某物或双方都知道的人或事。
(2) 特指上文已提到的人或物。
(3) 特指世上独一无二的事物,或某一范围内唯一的事物。
(4) 构成专有名词。
如:the USA美国
(5) 用于短语中和乐器前。
2.I can say my ABCs.我会说字母歌了。(教材第S12页)
can意为“能,会”。该词为情态动词,其后跟动词原形,
They can spell “good”.他们会拼写单词“good”。
其否定句在can后直接加not,其一般疑问句将can提到主语前面。
