Dear Mr. John,
I’m Li Hua, a student from Class 9 Senior 3. I know that we are going to pay a visit to The
Willink School in England next month, which I am very interested in, so I am writing to apply for
being a member of it.
I’ve been learning English for 10 years, and I speak English fluently. What’s more, I’ll be able
to share with the students in England the traditional Chinese culture, such as tea house, paper
cutting and so on. Meanwhile, I can also learn about English culture by being exposed to it.
I would appreciate it if you could consider my application. I do hope I can be accepted.
Looking forward to your reply!

Li Hua

Dear Mr. John,
Learning that our school will select appropriate representatives to pay a visit next month to The
Willink School, our British sister school , I am writing to apply for it .
As an outgoing girl, I get along well with others. More importantly, with a good command of
English, I can express myself fluently. For me, such a visit will be a precious opportunity to introduce
the splendid Chinese traditional culture to the British students so that they can get to know China
better. Meanwhile, I can have firsthand experience through the visit, which will help me acquire a
deeper understanding of British culture .
I’d appreciate it if you could consider my application. Looking forward to your reply!
Regards,
Li Hua
