Scientists found that research on how gorillas (大猩猩) communicate can help us understand human language development.
Understanding how the brain works help us see a connection between language development and nonverbal (非语言的) signs. These signs include thins like the way we move our hands or bodies or the different expression on our faces. A new study on gorillas showed that right – handedness – preferring to use the right hand instead of the left one for most physical activities – may have a connection with communication.
Scientists once recorded one gorilla’s movements. One of the first results was that gorillas use their right hands more when they are doing actions with their heads or mouths at the same time. Besides, we can use the results of the study and our knowledge about brains to help us understand more about how language first developed in human.
Dr. Forrester, who did the study, says the results can be useful in other ways, such as understanding language development in children. For example, some children have a serious illness called Autism which can stop them communication normally with people. it might be possible to use the same study way to find out which children have this illness when they are very young. Doctor will then be able to start dealing with the problem early.

November 7 is Lidong, one of the 24 solar terms, making the beginning of the winter. Winter means strongs winds and snow – an environment in which it is 1 to be. For this reason, 2 of winter from people are normally quite terrible.
This unpleasant and even scary winter weather is used by writer. Is Shakespeare’s novel King Lear (1606), the king has given away his country and been 3 by his two daughters. He is out in the winter cold, 4 a hard life that usually belongs to the poorest and meanest human beings. The winter is bad enough foe Lear, but being given up by his family is 5 . Here, winter is used to bring out the ugliness (丑陋的) of the human nature. There aren’t many things are more terrible than winter, according to Shakespeare.
However, other 6 used the cold and scary winter weather to provide a contrast (对比) to the fun and the festival atmosphere (氛围) going on indoors. Dicken’s A Christmas Carol (1843) was the start of this. Christmas is a common, pleasant thing i stories that is a 7 of winter scenes today. think about the joy 8 by Harry Potter and his friends in J. K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (1997) as they sit down for their festival meal: “Harry had never in all life had such a Christmas dinner – hundred of fat, roast turkeys; mountains of roast and boiled potatoes;… silver boats of thick, rich gravy.” It is almost as much a pleasure 9 about the meal as it might have been to eat it.
Although winter 10 isn’t the most cheerful season in novels and poems, it’s safe to say that writers have certainly “warmed up” since Shakespeare’s days.

A Speech in Columbia University
I remember sitting where you are 34 year ago, feeling that these were the best years of my life. 1 Also the hobby—bridge, a card game came to my life. I played 30 hours a week, but to this date Columbia still
10
wouldn’t give me a degree in it. While at Columbia, I found the love of my life. And finally, on commencement (毕业典礼) day, I got to sit and listen to Isaac Asimov, the famous science fiction writer. 2
It seems that these are far from the fantastic years of your lives. 3 . To be specific, my hope for you is that the next 10 years will be the best years in your lives. Why 10 year? 10 years seems so far away. but really it is not.
Checking in with May 2007 seems like a good way to see what 10 year can do in our world. It is interesting to remember that in 2007, Steve Jobs put the iPhone into the market 4 . A young man Barack Obama, decide to run from President. And back in 2007, Donald Trump was till saying, “You are fired” rather than “Make America Great Again.” So 10 years can do a lot, but the next 10 will do much more than last 10. Why? Because the next 10 years will be Age of Artificial Intelligence or AI.
Today, an AI image (形象) can make people’s selfies (自拍) more beautiful, so that every Chinese movie star I know doesn’t allow her photo to be published without it. In the next 10 years, AI will take the phone of not only most factory workers, servants, and middlemen but also reporters, doctors, the teachers. 5
Like all big change, AI requires you to have an open mind. Your hard work has prepared you to be yourself, or simply accept, or warmly welcome it—change that will push you in new directions.
A. But I am sorry that you only get me.
B. I know that your best are yet to come.
C. I found the profession of my life: artificial intelligence or AI.
D. I got married to my wife and managed our life about AI business.
E. Back then, I was still using my Blackberry, and my wife was still using her Nokia.
F. Your AI helper knows better what you would like to eat tonight, where you should go on vacation and so on.

Do not call out by making noise with cons on the country or your fingers or waving like a dying swimmer. And they do not like people who wait until the end of the order before asking for such drinks as Guinness Stout which take considerably longer to pour then other drinks.
Speaking of tips, you should never offer the pub staff pounds. The correct behavior is to offer them a drink. Pubs pride themselves on their fascinating fair atmosphere. It would be a depending – on atmosphere. Tip cash would be a reminder of their service role, however the offer of a drink is a friendly manner of your actions.

Dear classmates.
As we know, life is not always perfect. Here was one of the most popular pictures on Facebook in 2017. Let’s taka a look at the great changes about this pencil. At first it was a complete one, but it was broken into two pieces for some reason. Surprisingly, it was turned into two short new one in the end. How wonderful/ fascinating/ amazing it was! For me, I think there are some similarities between the changes of pencils and our life. We hope everything goes well, but we sure have a lot of problems and worries in life, even so we can solve them with our creative minds and ideas instead of running away.
