When you want to go shopping, decide how much money you can spend for new clothes. Think about the kind of clothes you really need. Then look for those clothes on sale.
There are labels inside all new clothes. The labels tell you how to take care of your clothes. The label for a shirt may tell you to wash it in warm water. A sweater label may tell you to wash by washing in cold water. The label on a coat may say "dry clean only." Washing may ruin(损坏)this coat. If you do as the directions say on the label, you can keep your clothes looking their best. Many clothes today must be dry cleaned. Dry cleaning is expensive. When buying new clothes, check to see if they will need to be dry cleaned. You will save money if you buy clothes that can be washed.
You can save money if you buy clothes that are well made. Well-made clothes last longer. They look good even after they have been washed many times. Clothes that cost more money are not always better made. They do not always fit better. Sometime less expensive clothes look and fit better than more expensive clothes.

I’m sure you’ve asked this when traveling, “Can I drink the tap water?” It is easy to get confused about where it’s safe to drink and where it’s not, especially if you’re planning a
multi-destination trip. Some countries like India and Mexico are well known for unsafe tap water but where else is it a health risk?
If you want a quick reference for where on the Earth the water is safe, we’ve got you covered with this helpful graph(图表). It was created by Just the Flight. All of the information about water safety is based on data from the CDC. The graph also shows pricing for bottled water and beer for each country as well!
Have plans to travel to a place where the tap water is deemed(认定的) unsafe? Remember to skip ice in your drinks and avoid uncooked fruit and vegetables unless they’ve been peeled(削皮). Make sure to use bottled water when brushing your teeth as well.
Please know that not all of the countries listed on the graph have dirty or polluted water. I know from personal experience: tap water may be safe at different elevations(海拔)and in different areas within a country shown as unsafe on the graph. Finally, further research is required. However, if you fall short of that, you’d better follow the advice on the graph to avoid an uncomfortable case of traveler’s illness.
It’s definitely better to be safe than sorry!
24. Which of the following is the best title?
A.Drinking Tap Water is Good for Our Health
B.How Can We Get Tap Water?
C.Where on the Earth Can You Drink Safe Tap Water?
D.Tap Water is Always Safe to Drink

The Internet has become part of teenage life.
A new report on 3,375 students aged from 10 to 18 in seven Chinese cities found that 38 percent of them believe they use the Internet often. While most of them get useful information and use the Internet to help in their studies, some are not using it in a good way.
In order to help young people use the Internet in a good way, a textbook on good Internet behavior has started to be used in some Shanghai middle schools this term. The book uses real examples to teach students all about good ways of using the Internet. The book gives useful advice such as “it’s good to read news or find helpful information to study”.
Some students also make online friends. But if you are meeting a friend offline, make sure your parents know. Teachers and parents all think the book is of great help. A teacher said the book would be a guide for teens using the Internet. She believes it will keep students away from bad sites. “Many students are using the Internet without guidance from their parents,” she said. “The book will teach students how to be a good person in the online world.”
27.The textbook mainly tells us ______.
A.why we should use the Internet
B.how to study using the Internet
C.how to use the Internet correctly
D.how to get help from others

第二节(共5个小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
The Internet has opened up a whole new online world for us to meet, chat and go where we’ve never been before. But just as in face to face communication, there are some rules of behavior that should be followed when on line. ___31 Imagine how you’d feel if you were in the other person’s shoes. For anything you’re about to send: ask yourself, “Would I say this to the person’s face?” If the answer is no, rewrite and reread. 32
If someone in the chat room is rude to you, your instinct (本能) is to fire back in the same manner. But try not to do so. ___33 If it was caused by a disagreement with another member, try to fix the situation by politely discussing it. Remember to respect the beliefs and opinions of others in the chat room.
___34 Offer advice when asked by newcomers, as they may not be sure what to do or how to communicate. When someone makes a mistake, whether it’s a stupid question or an unnecessarily long answer, be kind about it. If it’s a small mistake, you may not need to say anything. Even if you feel strongly about it, think twice before saying anything. Having good manners yourself doesn’t give you license to correct everyone else. __35 At the same time, if you find you are wrong, be sure to correct yourself and apologize to those that you have offended.
It is not polite to ask others personal questions such as their age, sex and marital status. Unless you know the person very well, and you are both comfortable with sharing personal information, don’t ask such questions.
A. It’s natural that there some people who speak rudely or make mistakes online.
B. Repeat the process till you feel sure that you’d feel comfortable saying the words to the person’s face.
C. Everyone was new to the network once.
D. The basic rule is simple: treat others in the same way you would want to be treated.
E. When you send short messages to a person online, you must say something beautiful to hear.
F. You should either ignore the person, or use your chat software to block their messages.
G. If you do decide to tell someone about a mistake, point it out politely.
