Ask the students the following questions:（5 minutes）‎ What’s your favourite place in your city?‎ How do you get there? ‎ How far is it from your home to the city?‎ Who’s famous in your city?‎ What food is famous in your city?‎ Step2.Encourage the students to find more important information in the sentences. （10 minutes）‎ Students answer the questions.and find important information.‎ Step3. Ask the students to read the sentences and summarize the important words. （20 minutes）‎ ‎1. Play the dialogue for the students, remind them to pay attention to the stressed words.‎ ‎2. Ask the students to read after the tape.‎ ‎3.Practice the dialogue in pairs.‎ Students read and summarize,listen to the tape and read after the tape.‎ Step4.
