Step 1 Warm-up
1.Revise different capitals of different countries.
2.Ask some students to report their homework about dream homes.
Step2. Presentation
1.Use the pictures to teach the new words.
2.Introduce three different kinds of homes in other countries .
Step3. Reading
1.Read quickly and find out the answer to the question Where do they live?
2.You have read the passage on your own and then judge whether the following statements are true or false

Step 4 Listening
1.Say something about Neil
Neil lives in a town 15 miles from London. The house is big. My favourite room is kitchen. My family and I often sit there and enjoy a cup of tea. We have a beautiful garden. I always have fun with dog there.
2.Look at the pictures and say something about Anna.
Anna lives in a flat in the centre of Moscow. Our flat is on the seventh floor. It’s not big, but we have a nice living room. After dinner, we like to watch TV and chat there. I share a bedroom with my sister. We often listen to music in bed.
3.Say something about Stephen
Stephen lives in a large house in Los Angeles. It has eight rooms. I have my own bedroom and bathroom, and I like the balcony best. I love to sit there and look out at the beach and
the sea. It’s cool.
Step5 Practicing
Listen and ask ss to answer the questions according to reading

Step 6. Discussion (task)
Divide the class into groups of six. Ask students to draw picture of their homes.
Students look at their pictures and talk about their homes.
Step 7.Consolidation and improvement
1) Provide students some phrases and let them say something about each student’s home to have a mainly revision of the passages.
2) Underline some phrases and explain some language points in passages.
3) Do more exercises to consolidate what they leaned.
Step8. Homework.
1. Review the contents of this lesson.
2. Write an article to introduce their own homes, using the four home pages as a model.
