本单元的课文是一个学生耳熟能详的童话故事——丹麦著名作家安徒生笔下的《狮子和老鼠》。课文以叙述故事的手法,呈现了一般过去时。教学重难点是一般过去时陈述句的表达和be动词及规则动词的过去式构成。教师可以借助故事情境,帮助学生初步感知和理解一般过去时,同时通过朗读、角色扮演等教学活动,使学生能够自然地运用所学内容,从而为后三个单元一般过去时的继续学习做好铺垫。
