A.used to的用法
“used to动词原形”表示过去常常干某事现在不在干了。只有一种形式即过去式。例如I used to go to work by bus. Now I take a taxi.
So the sentence ―I used to be afraid of the dark.means in Chinese: 我过去常害怕黑暗。“used to”的疑问形式和否定形式
—Did you use to be afraid of the dark?
—Yes, I used to be afraid of the dark.
—Did he use to be afraid of the dark?
—No, he did not use to be afraid of the dark.
