There is a tall tree in front of the classroom. 教室前面有一棵大树。
There is a desk in the front of the classroom. 在教室的前面有一张书桌。
[探究] front作名词，意为“前面；正面”。常用短语为in front of…，意为“在……前面”，指某一范围之外的前面。
[辨析] in front of 与in the front of
(1)in front of指在某范围外部的前面。 (2)in the front of指在某范围内部的前面。
