一、There be 句型
There be句型也称为“存在句”，表示“某地/某时有某物/某人”。There be句型属于倒装句，there没有实际意义，be动词为谓语，主语通常放在谓语后面。be动词的形式应根据主语的单复数而变化。
1．There be句型的基本结构：
(1)肯定句：There be＋主语＋地点状语/时间状语．
(2)否定句：There be＋not＋主语＋地点状语/时间状语．
(3)一般疑问句：Be there＋主语＋地点状语/时间状语？
回答：Yes, there be./No，there be＋not.
【注意】There be句型的肯定句变为否定句或一般疑问句时，应将some改为any。
(4)特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词＋主语＋be＋there＋地点状语/时间状语？
回答时不能用Yes或No，要根据实际情况作答。如：
—How many pencils are there in the pencil－box?
—There are two pencils in the pencil－box.
——文具盒里有多少支铅笔？
——文具盒里有两支铅笔。
2．There be句型的就近原则：
There be句型中若有两个或两个以上的主语时，be动词的形式与最靠近它的主语在数上保持一致，即遵循“就近原则”。如：
There is a boy and two girls in the classroom.
教室里有一个男孩和两个女孩。
二、问路与指路的表达方式
1．问路：
Where is the Hilton Hotel, please?
Excuse me.Is there a hotel near here?
Excuse me.How can I get to the Hilton Hotel?
Excuse me.Could you please tell me the way to the Hilton Hotel?
2．指路：
Go/Walk along this street.
Turn right at the first crossing.
Take the second turning on the left, and then walk straight.
