1) Ask Ss to do EX4 in WB. Ask Ss to pay attention to the words ”recently” and “ago”
学生活动
1) Ss do EX4 in WB.
2) Try to tell the differences between past tense and present perfect tense after making conversation.
2. Writing and speaking

1) Ask the Ss to work in groups of six. Make questions to ask everyone in the group and try to find a different name to write for each answer in Act 1
2) Write questions using “How long have/ has…” in Act 2
3) Act3.&5
4) Act4. pairwork.
学生活动
1) Ss work in groups to make conversations about the questions and find the name that has done what the question asks.
2) Make sure Ss can use the correct part participle of the verbs in the questions新-课-标 -第-一-网

1) Act 7 Go through questions before listening. Play the tape twice. After the first time, Ss grasp the general idea. Play the 2nd time for them to do Act7 for details.

2) Listen with purpose and do Act7.
