How are you today? ‎ T: I know what you often do on weekdays. But I don’t know what you often do on weekends. So what do you often do on weekends?‎ T: Well, to me, I often help my mom do some housework.(show Ss the pictures of housework and have Ss say what housework they are.) ‎ Ss: do the dishes, wash the clothes, take out the trash, sweep the floor, make the bed, do some cooking T: What housework would you like to do?‎ Step II Presentation T: Great. You can help your mom, and you can also help other people.‎ Look at these people who are in trouble. What’s the matter with them?(show Ss the pictures)‎ T: look at the children , they are in the hospital. What’s wrong?‎ T: Yes. They are sick people.‎ ‎(use same way to present poor students, homeless people, people who are in hunger)‎ They are not very happy in their life. Let’s listen and pay attention to the phrasal verbs. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Step 4 Pairwork:‎ Would you like to be volunteers?‎ We need to set up a volunteer team.
